Pallotti Children Hope Centre is a boarding Centre for Children with mild and moderate intellectual disabilities . the centre which is first of its kind in Rwanda, is founded by a German organization known as Wir Fϋr Rwanda. This Organization realized through Dr. Bernd BIERBUM, how maginalized and excluded children with intellectual disabilities were,and still are from many services being enjoyed by other members of society. in 2004 Wir Fϋr Rwanda developed the idea to build up a centre for these children to improve their living conditions including a unique training programme for instructors in Special Needs and inclusive Education.
